Captain John and First Mate Rick gave it their all to help our family catch some walleye, but the fish just weren’t biting. We still managed to bring in nine keepers and a few undersized ones, plus some bonus catches—a 23.5-pound, 35-inch catfish reeled in by my 16-year-old, two perch, and a bass. A few more fish made an appearance, though we chose not to keep them. Even without limiting out, it was a fun day on the lake. The captain and first mate stayed determined right up until the end, doing everything they could to find the bite. It was our first Lake Erie trip, and we’re already looking forward to coming back for another shot.

Had a great time fishing with Captain John and his first mate Rick. Had my two teenage grandsons and my wife on the trip and they loved the boat ride and the grandsons had a fantastic time catching walleye. John had plenty of patience with a boat full of beginners but i think we were getting the hang of it by the time we reached our limit of 24 walleye. Captain John and Rick were easy to talk which made the trip a relaxing event.

I went on a trip with my two brothers and dad, and we had a great time. The captain wasn’t overly chatty, which we appreciated, and he kept us focused on fishing. We limited out on walleye and caught plenty of sheepshead too. I liked that he took the time to show us how to rig lines, so even when the bite slowed, we stayed engaged. Overall, a solid experience—would definitely book again.

I took my wife and two 18-year-old kids out for a great day of fishing. We all limited out, and the Captain made sure everyone was involved—teaching us how to fish while trolling, running lines, and reeling in fish nonstop. He was patient, informative, and made the experience fun for the whole family. We booked a charter to go fishing, and that’s exactly what we got—plus plenty of catching. Highly recommend!

Captain John and his crew were very knowledgeable and professional. They were straightforward yet friendly, and we learned a lot about the techniques they used while fishing. We hit our limit in a good amount of time, and I especially appreciated how the captain worked with my adult kids—patiently teaching them how to handle the rods and lines. Overall, it was a great experience with a team that knows their stuff.

John and his deck hand are very knowledgeable and personable. Made fishing enjoyable while teaching the guys how to set up and troll for fish. We limited out. What more can I say!!

An amazing fishing adventure for my son, a beginner in fishing. He landed the day's largest catch! With 10 lines constantly trolling, we had better chances to catch more fish. The captain was fantastic, and the price was excellent. I strongly recommend this charter.
