Captain John Seifert is the experienced and trusted guide behind Another Limit Charters, a locally respected name in Lake Erie fishing charters. With decades of experience fishing these waters, John has developed a strong understanding of seasonal fish patterns, weather conditions, and productive techniques. His approach is rooted in patience, preparation, and a genuine love for fishing, which shows in every trip he leads. He’s known for creating an easygoing atmosphere that helps both first-timers and experienced anglers feel at home on the water.
Growing up fishing Lake Erie, Captain John turned his lifelong passion into a career by becoming a full-time guide. Over the years, he has developed a reputation not only for putting guests on fish, but also for his approachable teaching style. John is always ready to share tips and insights on how to better target species like Walleye and Yellow Perch, and he takes pride in helping each guest improve their skills and leave the trip with more knowledge than when they arrived.
For Captain John, guiding is about more than just the catch—it’s about building connections with people who enjoy the outdoors and creating memorable experiences. Many of his guests return year after year, often bringing along friends or family to share in the fun. Whether it’s a casual weekend trip or a serious outing with experienced anglers, John treats each charter with the same level of care and professionalism. His goal is to make sure every guest leaves with a smile, a story, and a cooler full of fish.
