Get ready to reel in some serious action on Lake Erie with Another Limit Charters. This ain't your average fishing trip – it's a 6-hour afternoon adventure tailored for experienced anglers who know their stuff. We're talking prime walleye and yellow perch territory, guided by the one and only Captain John Seifert. He knows these waters like the back of his hand and he's all about putting you on the fish. With room for up to six guests, you've got the perfect setup for a day of focused fishing with your crew. All the gear you need is covered, from rods and reels to the secret sauce (bait) that'll have those walleye and perch chomping. And when the day's done? We'll clean your catch so you can start dreaming about that fish fry. Just remember to snag your Ohio fishing license before you hop aboard.
Listen up, folks – this ain't no pleasure cruise. We're here to fish, and fish hard. Captain John's got a game plan, and it involves hitting up the hotspots where walleye and perch are known to hang out. You'll be using tried-and-true techniques that have filled coolers time and time again. Expect to do some serious trolling, maybe even some drift fishing if the conditions are right. The boat's got all the latest tech to help us locate schools of fish, but at the end of the day, it's your skill that'll bring 'em in. Don't worry about bringing any gear – we've got top-notch equipment that'll have you feeling like a pro. And hey, if you've got any tricks up your sleeve, Captain John's always game to learn something new from fellow anglers.
Alright, let's talk shop. When it comes to walleye, we're usually gonna be trolling with crawler harnesses or crankbaits. It's all about finding that perfect speed and depth – too slow and you'll miss 'em, too fast and they won't bite. For perch, we might switch it up and do some vertical jigging. Nothing beats feeling that tap-tap-tap on your line before setting the hook. We'll be using light tackle for the perch, which means you'll feel every head shake. And let me tell you, when a big walleye hits, it's like hooking into a freight train. You'll be working with downriggers, planer boards, and maybe even some dipsy divers if the fish are playing hard to get. Captain John's always tweaking the presentation to match what the fish want on any given day.

"Had a great time fishing with Captain John and his first mate Rick. Had my two teenage grandsons and my wife on the trip and they loved the boat ride and the grandsons had a fantastic time catching walleye. John had plenty of patience with a boat full of beginners but i think we were getting the hang of it by the time we reached our limit of 24 walleye. Captain John and Rick were easy to talk which made the trip a relaxing event." - Richard
"John and his deck hand are very knowledgeable and personable. Made fishing enjoyable while teaching the guys how to set up and troll for fish. We limited out. What more can I say!!" - Gary
Let's talk walleye – the crown jewel of Lake Erie fishing. These golden-eyed predators are the main event, and for good reason. They put up a heck of a fight and taste even better on the dinner table. Walleye in Erie can grow to trophy sizes, with fish over 10 pounds not uncommon. They're most active during low light conditions, which is why our afternoon trips are prime time. These fish are notorious for their light bite, so stay on your toes – a subtle twitch of your rod tip might be all you get before it's game on.
Now, don't sleep on the yellow perch. These tasty little fighters might not have the size of walleye, but what they lack in heft, they make up for in numbers and pure fun. Lake Erie perch are some of the biggest you'll find anywhere, often pushing 12 inches or more. They school up tight, so when you find 'em, it's non-stop action. Perch fishing is perfect for brushing up on your finesse techniques. Plus, there's nothing quite like a fresh perch fry – crispy on the outside, flaky on the inside, and oh-so-sweet.
Look, there's a reason Lake Erie is called the "Walleye Capital of the World." The fishing here is world-class, plain and simple. But it's not just about the fish – it's about the experience. You're out on the big water, with the skyline of Cleveland or Toledo in the distance, surrounded by your buddies or family. There's a camaraderie that develops when you're all working together to put fish in the boat. And let's be honest, there's nothing like the rush of a big walleye peeling line off your reel or the satisfaction of filling a cooler with jumbo perch.
Captain John's been doing this for years, and he's seen it all. He knows how to read the water, the weather, and most importantly, the fish. Whether you're looking to learn some new tricks or just want to be put on the fish, he's got you covered. And here's the kicker – with our afternoon charters, you don't have to be an early bird to catch the worm (or in this case, the fish). Sleep in, have a lazy morning, and still get out there for prime fishing time.
Alright, folks, here's the deal. Lake Erie's walleye and perch fishing is no secret, and spots on top-rated charters like Another Limit fill up fast. If you're an experienced angler looking to tangle with some of the best freshwater fishing the Great Lakes have to offer, this is your ticket. Captain John's got the knowledge, the boat's got the gear, and Lake Erie's got the fish. All that's missing is you and your fishing buddies.
Remember, this trip is tailored for those who know their way around a rod and reel. You'll be using advanced techniques and targeting specific areas, so come ready to fish hard and smart. With a max of six guests, you're guaranteed plenty of elbow room and personal attention. And let's not forget – at the end of the day, you'll have a cooler full of fresh fish and memories that'll last a lifetime.
Don't let another season slip by without getting out on Erie's waters. The fish are biting, the boat's ready, and Captain John's itching to put you on some trophy walleye and jumbo perch. Trust me, your future self will thank you when you're reeling in that monster walleye or limiting out on perch before the sun sets. Let's make it happen – see you on the water!

Lake Erie's yellow perch are a blast to catch and even better to eat. These golden-hued fish typically run 7-10 inches long, but can reach up to 15 inches. You'll find them schooling near the bottom in 20-40 feet of water, often around weed beds or rocky areas. Spring and fall are prime perch seasons, but you can hook 'em year-round. Anglers love perch fishing for the fast action and delicious filets. These feisty little guys put up a good fight on light tackle too. To boost your catch, try using a perch spreader rig with minnows or small jigs tipped with worms. Keep your bait near the bottom and be ready for that telltale tap-tap-tap bite. Once you find a school, it's not uncommon to limit out quickly. Just remember, the best perch anglers are the ones who can keep a secret fishing spot to themselves!

Walleye are the crown jewel of Lake Erie fishing. These olive-gold predators average 2-3 pounds but can top 10 pounds or more. They're most active in low light, hanging out near drop-offs, rock piles, and weed edges in 15-30 feet of water. Spring and fall offer the best action, especially around dawn and dusk. Walleye are prized for their excellent table fare and challenging nature - they're not called "the hard-to-catch fish" for nothing. Their fight is more about dogged determination than acrobatics. To up your odds, try trolling with crankbaits or crawler harnesses along underwater structure. My local tip: On calm summer nights, casting suspending jerkbaits in shallow water can produce monster walleye. Just be patient and vary your retrieval speed. When you hook into that telltale head-shake, you'll know why Erie walleye are so addictive.
